Do you have a human story that you think should be promoted?

We are looking for an artist, a storyteller, a journalist, or simply a person with a human story to contribute to Humans in the EU.

We aim to tell personal human stories of people across Europe with a particular focus on the underrepresented or misrepresented, such as people of colour, ethnic and religious minorities, the LGBTIQ+ community, people with disabilities, and women.

Citizens and Student Assemblies Project

We are interested in a person to cover one of the citizens and student assemblies that have been organized all over Europe, if you are interested please reach out to us! (Paid opportunity)

What to cover?

We are looking for human stories of: Why are people attending these assemblies? What was their expectation? What are their concrete recommendations to the European Union? How do they see the future of Europe and as Europeans? We want these stories to be personal or related to activism and civic engagement through the format/tasks:

  • Photography (photo series preferred) from the assembly: You should take photos of the assembly, such as the venue, people, and as many portraits as you can (a minimum of 40 photos will be expected).

  • Short videos: You should record and transcribe memorable quotes.

  • Quotes and other written input from people attending the assembly: You should get several answers to all the questions above and write down the inputs.
