“All of my embroideries represent people. Sometimes a single portrait, sometimes a pair or a whole family.”
“In this selection, you can see for example: Michał and his girlfriend Magda. I met Michał while creating a photographic project about old cinemas in Poland. Since then Michał has become one of my closest friends.
Barbara Kaniecka and Zbigniew Komorowski are two of the 100 people who appear on my biggest project until now – “Panorama of a small town“. I am still working on this project.
“My mission is to meet and get to know people living in different countries and regions of Europe. Their stories, roots, and experiences. I want to contribute to the concept of “getting to know and understand the "stranger"” - so she or he would become “known“ and “closer to us””
“In 2019, after many years of being a recipient of art rather than an artist, I returned to express my own artistic ideas.
Surprisingly, I chose embroidery technique as my path. Portraits are my love and biggest addiction.”
