Porto Festival

“My motivation is to advocate for equal rights and equal justice for everyone, without exceptions, without discrimination.”

Meet Moussa Sangaré. We spoke to him at TRANSEUROPA, a transnational artistic, cultural and political festival held in Porto, Portugal. He is the president and coordinator of the Ivorian community in Greece. He is a board member of the Greek Refugee Forum, a support network for refugees, migrants, stateless people and asylum seekers based in Greece.

“Europe for me is the future. I'm living here and have been here for a long time and there are a lot of things that need to be changed. My motivation is to advocate for equal rights and equal justice for everyone, without exceptions without discrimination. What I have done so far is to raise awareness.”

“The future of Europe? I would like to see one where we are living in a good environment, with good food, good people, and we are breathing good air. That we are equal, we are united, and we are in solidarity.”
